Históricamente, emprender un proyecto subterráneo se ha percibido como arriesgado, costoso y quizás demasiado

desafiante. “Si es posible, debe evitarse” lo he escuchado tantas veces. ¿Por qué nosotros – Skava y sus equipos se mantienen motivados haciendo algo que otros quieren evitar?

Nuestro motor es entender que la construcción subterránea siempre aportará muchos más beneficios a la sociedad en su conjunto – nuestros clientes, las comunidades, el medio ambiente, etc. – que tener la misma estructura o instalación en la superficie.

Basta con pensar en cuántas montañas, espacios recreativos, sitios arqueológicos, riquezas costeras, barrios se mantienen intactos al poner las cosas bajo tierra.

Por otro lado, podemos conectar lugares, ayudar a tanta gente a llegar antes a casa con sus seres queridos, traer el agua siempre escasa y la energía limpia que necesitan a nuestras comunidades e industrias. Todo esto, muchas veces es posible gracias al desarrollo de proyectos subterráneos.

La extracción de metales clave es esencial para la electromovilidad y el abandono de los combustibles fósiles. Es un requisito previo para frenar nuestra tendencia al calentamiento global, ese proceso tendrá que ser cada vez más subterráneo. Por muchas razones: rentabilidad, medio ambiente, requisitos sociales y otros.

Todo lo anterior es lo que hace que cada proyecto que realizamos sea un trabajo fascinante.
